Forever (CPS 153)

7 Feb

Valentine’s approaches. Hearts are everywhere. Even the Sketch at Card Positioning System features the dainty symbol of love. I embraced that idea but, of course, put a small spin on it. I was at Michael’s the other day, here in Denver (it is moving to a larger location) and there were lots of things on sale, including a package of clear plastic charms (Fragments) from Ranger. It was half price so I scooped it up.

I thought one of these would make a perfect center-piece for the card. I added two drops of Silver Metallic Mixatives and one of the Current alcohol inks to the back of the charm and gently mixed it with a small piece of paper. On top, I added three rub-ons.

An organza ribbon finished off the charm. The rest was a simple collection of patterned and patterned papers.

Important Stuff: Natural cardstock (WorldWin); Patterned papers (My Mind’s Eye); Scalloped paper (Die Cuts with a View); Tim Holtz idea-ology Fragments charm (Ranger); Glue Dots (Glue Dots, Intl.)

Other Stuff: Lavender organza ribbon

One more look, a close-up, of the card:

Happy Valentine’s Day to everyone! Eli
