Spring Fling (CPS 158)

15 Mar

The air is warm and I am feeling it. I just got a stamp set that has a Paris flair and I knew that it would be perfect for a Spring theme. I saw the sketch at Card Positioning Systems (CPS) #158 and thought it was perfect for this theme. Here is the sketch:

So I stamped the fresh Parisian on a scooter and colored with Copic Markers. I cut out the image and adhered it to blue patterned paper that I cut/embossed with a Spellbinders Labels die template.

Then a stamped sentiment and layers of cardstock and a ribbon accent. I think it turned out fab. Here is a little close up on the colored image.

Important Stuff:

Die Cuts: Wizard™, S4-233 Labels Nine (#5, counting #1 at the center), S4-114 Standard Circles LG (Spellbinders™)
Papers: Cream textured cardstock and Lime Caribbean Colors cardstock (WorldWin), Blue patterned paper (Fancy Pants)
Stamps: Paris in the Spring (Stampin’Up!), Spring Fling (Studio g)
Embellishments: Ribbon (Creative Impressions)
Colorants: Memento Rich Cocoa dye ink (Tsukineko), Sketch Markers: BV01 Viola, E11 Bareley Beige, E57 Light Walnut, RV11 Pink, W5 Warm Gray No. 5, YG23 New Leaf (Copic)

Other Stuff: PVA Glue

One more look:

Hey, thanks for checking in and we’ll see you soon. Happy Creating. Eli
