Sticky Notes with Quote

7 Aug

I love sticky note pads. What did we ever do without them?

This week, I created a little treat for the new teacher. A sticky note command center, as I call it.

ImageI mean, what teacher doesn’t need a sticky note pad with darling washi tape and some cute clips…? Or what friend could use one of these with a friendship quote?

I’m sure you know of several people who would love this. So gather some supplies and whip out several. Someone will be glad you did…and I’m guessing you will be too.

First download the sticky note quotes printable. It includes quotes for teacher, friend, art and encouragement. One page and you get all four.

Then go over to Cut Card Stock Blog to see how to create it and have fun.

Be Joyful layered card

9 Apr

If you have been with me for any length of time (thanks, by the way) you may know that I’ve been designing for Cut Card Stock for several years and before that, Spellbinders Paper Arts. I’ve designed a lot of cards over the years but the one I just created is a new favorite for me.Image

I’m not sure what it is but I think the colors, the balance, the sentiment, the die-cuts just came together beautifully. Thankfully some days are just like that.

If you want to check out the instructions, click here for the blog poast. Or head over to the to see all their products.

Happy Easter to all…and have a creative day. Eli

Faux Enamel Labels

6 Mar

I love me some vintage just not the prices. So, as I finished up my craft room mini makeover I knew I needed to make some darling labels for all my organized bins.

I began these labels as a humble sheet of printed titles and die cut them with variety of sized ovals using my Spellbinders Grand Calibur. Once I cut them out, I kept thinking they looked like the old fashioned enamel labels and I was on my way to creating these:

For the whole tutorial on how to make them, go to’s blog (here) and see. Have a beautiful day.

My Cup of Tea

11 Feb

I love tea. I love to smell it, drink it, hold it’s warm (or iced) cup and I love to give it. Today over at the blog, I shared a tutorial on how to decorate this tea tin.

Go make a cup of soothing tea and then visit CutCardStock to check out this little project.

Tween Journal

23 Jan

A friend of mine was bemoaning the fact that she needed to get a gift for her niece, just after she was encouraging me to keep up with my paper crafts…I suggested she get a journal for her, from me. She agreed!

Here it is:

Her name is Korian! A little hard to see here but the colors in person are fabulous!! The inside has four sections of different colors and each one begins with a little tab and it has a ribbon book mark with chip board buttons hanging on it.

Fun, colorful ribbons add pizzazz to the spiral binding and little silk flowers add a feminine touch.

Now, off to get it in the mail.

It is not that hard to make. Check it out over at to find out how to make it and get the paper supplies you need.
