Take Ten

21 Feb

I’m working on a little project for my daughter’s school. Soon they’ll have a faculty appreciation event with door prizes. I’m donating a set of hand-made thank you cards. I coordinated the set and will make a pretty little box to hold them. I wanted to share the cards today. Here is the crop!

I used a ton of Spellbinders™ Die Templates, just a few stamps and a few embellishments. So easy.

Important Stuff: S3-136 Butterflies Two, S4-214 Eyelets Borderabilities® Petite, S4-251 Big Scalloped Ovals LG, S4-204 Fleur De Lis Pendants, S4-268 Nested Pears, S4-200 Flower Bouquet, S4-199 Floral Accent, S4-245 Fancy Tags, S4-190 Labels Four, S5-014 Deckled Mega Rectangles SM, S4-241 Jumbo Scalloped Borderabilities® Petite (Spellbinders™); Blue Free Bird “Peace” paper (My Mind’s Eye); Mediterranean blue cardstock (The Paper Studio); Studio g, Thank You Stamp (Hampton Arts); Tim Holtz Flower and text stamps (Stamper’s Anonymous); Stampology Clear Stamp Ink (Autumn Leaves), Glue Dots

Other Stuff: Green satin ribbon, Corner Rounder Punch; Dark Blue dye ink, PVA glue

This project didn’t take long. I cut/embossed 2 of most of the die templates I used, from 2 double-sided papers. I cut blocks of turquoise blue cardstock and I had a pile of card bases ready to go!

I grabbed a couple of elements, a cardstock block and then a die cut. I arranged them all on the card bases and then grabbed some ribbon and a couple of stamps. I adhered, stamped, punched corners and VOÍLA…10 cards.

Here are a couple of close ups…hope they inspire you!

Hope you have a great, creative week! Cheers, Eli
